Hilma Louise (Wurster) Tervo Obituary TERVO, HILMA LOUISE; age 95; a life-long resident of Manchester; passed away December 23, 2010; at Allegiance Health in Jackson. Hilma was born September 26, 1915 in Manchester to Charles and Mary (Fielder) Wurster. She was married to Leonard Bunney and then John William Tervo. Hilma was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Manchester. She was a member of Maccabees of Manchester, enjoyed bowling and was voted Homemaker of the year for many years at the Manchester Fair. Hilma is survived by her children, William (Dolores) Bunney, Richard (Sandy) Bunney, Robert (Marcia) Bunney and Wayne (Susan) Tervo; grandchildren, Karen, Melissa and Robert Bunney Jr., Brenda Olinger, Sara, Jeffrey and William Tervo; three great grandchildren, Jacob Olinger, Danielle and Braeden Bunney; one sister Norma Stautz; two brothers Victor and Ralph Wurster; and many nieces and nephews. Hilma was preceded in death by her parents; and step-mother Lydia; her first husband, Leonard Bunney; and second husband, John William Tervo in 1971; three brothers; and two sisters; and close friend Ed Groeb. In Hilma's honor, memorial donations may be given to the Emanuel United Church of Christ or Manchester Senior Citizens. A Healing Farewell will begin Monday at Borek Jennings Funeral Home Jenter Chapel, Manchester, MI with the family receiving friends from 2 to 8 p.m. and a Funeral Service on Tuesday at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Manchester at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Kwiatek officiating.
